Through our business relationship with Siriti (PTY) Ltd, who develops HIV & Aids related educational material, we gained very detailed knowledge on how the disease is actually spreading and why still so rapidly. Also, how little measurable effect past efforts have actually had.
We joined into a venture with Siriti and decided to conceptualise a ‘new take on HIV and AIDS’ – the message is ‘Join the movement, lets re-brand HIV’. See our case study on how we approached this challenge.
We don’t know if the endless hours that flew into this project will actually pay out in money but what we know is that we successfully started a movement around HIV & Aids and that our efforts will potentially help a great deal of people to look at the HIV virus differently and decide to live more responsible with regards to exposing themselves to HIV.
Besides this project we support the Siriti Foundation (www.siriti.co.za/foundation) which educated parents and care givers of orphans and vulnerable children exposed to HIV and AIDS.
