Nitida is a Durbanville based boutique wine estate focusing on producing real and honest wines in a style that they love to drink. Their ‘handmade wines’ have an award-winning recipe, which truly has created a passionate, loyal following.

Main Business Goals

  • Communicate the unique Nitida culture and its people online
  • Enable multiple digi-channel marketing through consistent email marketing, event updates and some serious blogging
  • Add intuitive wine shopping facilities which is easy to use for visitors and updatable by the Nitida Team


Strategy

  • To portray Nitida’s unique personality we illustrated elements which symbolise their personality with homemade ink made of leaves from the ‘Waboom’ (Nitidus) bush, the origin of their name.
  • Reduce time spend on their previous email marketing efforts and to enable them to measure the effectiveness of their campaigns, we provided them with a comprehensive, integrated Email Marketing platform.
  • National electronic wine sales proved to be successful for Nitida in the past, so we improved on their old ecommerce system and constructed a much more intuitive and up-datable shopping cart.
  • Enjoying a 2003 Nitida Cab Sauv and would like to see the winemakers comments for that specific cultivar? No problem – we built a comprehensive database of all Nitida wines commercially produced. Download the specsheet, view the highlights, and if there’s stock, you’ll be able to buy more!
  • Nitida is a very vibrant farm with many events and functions, so we added an announcement module at the top of each page, which informs constantly of upcoming events.
  • A Blog was added to enable the Nitida team to ‘blog’ about the happenings on the farm,  adding the personal touch which their community loves so much.


Results:

The website communicates hand made, individuality and quality. The execution and measurement of email marketing campaigns is easy and very effective.


Measurement Dashboard


The Nitida team can now analyse the success of each campaign and adjust future campaigns accordingly. Because their team is really committed to their digital marketing strategy, they are able to re-engage their clients constantly with their site, products and infectious personalities.
